Our team
De Bedstee is a family business founded by my father Dirk, and for over 20 years I have been the familiar face of the store. In 2018, our store moved to a larger location, and we expanded our team of advisors. Together with my wife Janneke, I am responsible for the collection and presentation. Dirk has been the technical expert from the beginning, with extensive knowledge of the products and solutions for any challenge. He leads our delivery service and visits many of our customers at home.
My mother Anny works behind the scenes, ensuring our administration is always in order. Jasper enjoys giving advice in the store and frequently assists with deliveries and installations. It’s possible that you buy a bed from him, and then have it delivered by him as well. Our youngest team member is Gregor, always cheerful and ready to tackle any job. He assists Dirk with deliveries to improve his technical skills but is also happy to help in the store.

What can you expect from us?
We take the time for you and give you the attention you need. We assess your needs and wishes and provide objective and honest advice. If you prefer, you can make an appointment before your visit, ensuring an advisor is available for you.
When you purchase a bed, mattress, or wardrobe from us, we install it ourselves. After setting up your bed or wardrobe, our delivery team takes all packaging materials with them. A matter of making the bed and setting up, and you can immediately enjoy your new bed or wardrobe.
If you wish, we can dispose of your old mattresses. They are sent to mattress recycling, where they are dismantled and, for example, turned into judo mats. If you don’t know what to do with your old bed, let us know. We’re happy to think along with solutions.
In the Zaanstreek, Waterland, and Amsterdam-Noord regions, you can use our pick-up and drop-off service or request advice at home. If you don’t have your own transport and would like to visit our showroom, one of our colleagues can pick you up from home and bring you back afterward.
In some cases, it may not be possible for you to visit the store yourself. Feel free to contact us to make a home appointment. We will assess your needs beforehand and visit your home with the necessary information to provide appropriate advice.
